A family living space doubling as a cinema — the brief was a big-screen experience that disappears completely when not in use, with simple one-touch control for the whole family.

A motorised projector lift and large-format screen descend at the touch of a button, with surround sound, media streaming and scene lighting all driven from a single remote.

A light-filled period conversion with exposed brick and a double-height void — systems had to integrate sympathetically with the architecture, including a climate-controlled wine cellar below.

Whole-home audio and video distribution, intelligent lighting and heating control, and precise climate monitoring for the wine cellar — all managed from one interface.

Design

Designed by architect Bruno Erpicum, the specification was to keep everything hidden and out of view, while remaining entirely practical to live with day to day.

Build

Complete Crestron control and lighting, whole-building integration of the Mitsubishi A/C via Lonworks, underfloor heating over Cresnet, Silent Gliss blinds, audio video distribution and a home cinema projector.

Bar & Restaurant

Sushi Samba

Salesforce Tower, London

Design

One of the most challenging projects to design, with high ceilings, glass walls and open staircases. Speakers had to be unobtrusive or entirely invisible while delivering sound that matched the Sushi Samba ethos across three floors.

Build

Two restaurants and a bar/lounge, each with independent sound, video and control. Crestron integration to the managers' iPads, audio processing on Soundweb, with Electro-Voice, JBL, Cloud and Amina throughout.

Strand, London

Design

Working alongside PTS consultants on a multimillion pound refurbishment of The Great Hall — a system to cover live TV broadcasting, Prime Ministerial Question Time, lectures, presentations, banqueting and receptions.

Build

Dual front Christie projection with motorised Draper screen, Bose voice reinforcement with handheld and lapel radio mics, lectern with tablet input, Crestron touch panel control and an Ampetronic induction loop.

Equinox Fitness

Kensington High Street, London

Design

Set in the Old Rainbow Room, the brief demanded an audio solution that satisfied English Heritage — preserving the original art deco ceiling while delivering sound to get any fitness fanatic going.

Build

Sub-contracted to Overbury to supply and install the audio system, all structured data cabling with a 20 year warranty, and video to 300 fitness machines.

Design

High ceilings and balconies all around made this a challenging space acoustically — the design had to deliver even volume levels of music throughout a vast, open area.

Build

As an approved subcontractor to Overbury, an audio system built around a BSS Soundweb London processor, Cloud amplifiers and JBL and EVID loudspeakers.
